On September 5th, 2024, Project Share is Care and UMC Free Clinic joined forces to serve the homeless and uninsured populations of downtown Miami, addressing not only food insecurity but also critical healthcare needs. This collaboration brought together warm meals and free healthcare services, offering hope and essential support to those who often face overwhelming challenges.

As Project Share is Care volunteers distributed meals of fried chicken, rice, bananas, and drinks, the UMC Free Clinic mobile unit was stationed nearby, providing free healthcare services. This unique event addressed both hunger and health, offering some of the most vulnerable members of the community access to vital resources that can be difficult to obtain.
